NewSpace2060 Visions: Japan This is a series of short writings on my observations and feelings about Japan in the future in 2060. It may well be the case that we become interplanetary species or be in still in isolation of being part of Earth and continuously curious about the Universe. It is easy to see how Japan can be a depiction of what the future is by the way we see AI and Robotics progress, because of her aging population and the greater interconnection between machines and phones than humans, relatively speaking. As Government and policy makers look to ‘solving’ the problem of birth rates and dealing with an aging population, I think Japan is merely ahead of the curve in terms of trends in society. It is difficult to explain why though I hope my short writings will provide a flavour of my thoughts.
